About the Unit

A section of the Scout Association, explorer scouts are girls and boys aged 14-18 and meet every Monday at the West Bridgford Baptist church in, well, West Bridgford, Nottingham.
We do the Duke of Edinburgh award, the Queen's Scout award and take part in loads of community projects, as well as having fun learning valuable life skills and bushcraft in the church hall or out at Stonepit.
We go on two expeditions a year to various parts of the country, have an annual summer camp and an annual "BP Camp", our "what Baden-Powell would have wanted" flagship camp. These are all great fun, and everybody involved gains a lot.
We also have a great leadership team - they're good people: dedicated, fair and good to be around. They clearly love what they do and they do it well.
